---- Reported by kbr 2007-10-19 21:13:19 ---- When a web page containing a JOGL applet is scrolled on some machines and operating systems, it leaves trails behind. This makes it difficult if not impossible to build web based applications with JOGL. This problem has been seen on multiple operating systems and web browsers, but the URL above indicates that the problem may be limited to the Firefox and Safari browsers. The problem is reproducible on Firefox 2 and 3 on Windows with certain graphics hardware and on Safari on Mac OS X again with certain graphics hardware. Notably the problem does not occur in Internet Explorer. When this problem was first reported it appeared that it might be a bug in NVidia's drivers, but a bug filed with them was closed with the indication that the trails occurred with ATI hardware as well. Investigation is needed to see whether the setting of the window style performed by the Java Plug-In affects the behavior in any way. The window styles set by the IE and Firefox plug-ins are currently different. A bug should probably be filed with Apple. --- Bug imported by sgothel@jausoft.com 2010-03-24 07:50 EDT --- This bug was previously known as _bug_ 325 at https://jogl.dev.java.net/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=325
