    <thetext>Unable to render both text and my own shapes (using my own shaders).
Previous solution of using
gl.glUseProgram(shaderState.shaderProgram().program())
  // text rendering
  .......
gl.glUseProgram(myOwnProgram)
  // my stuff
  ......

doesn&apos;t work any more.

Instead I needed to set 
 RenderState.setShaderProgram(final GL2ES2 gl, final ShaderProgram someShProg) {..}</thetext>

    <thetext>to use your own shader, you would need to grab the Glyph&apos;s shape (OutlineShape) and perhaps render them with your own underlying technique - still benefiting from our typecast migration.</thetext>
