Description Sven Gothel 2010-03-24 07:48:01 CET

---- Reported by peregrinefalcon 2005-09-13 08:28:48 ----

Fedora Core 4, latest updates
July 12 Release Build
While running Art of Illusion 2.1
Video card: ATI Technologies Inc Rage 128 PF/PRO AGP 4x TMDS

On closing a window that used an OpenGL canvas, such as the mesh editor, a
SIGSEGV occurs in the native code of r128_dri.so. I am unsure if this is an X
bug or a jogl bug.
I'll attach a full crash report.

This is probably a bug in the ATI Radeon drivers on Linux. If you can provide a
self-contained test case we can try to investigate it, but it is unlikely the
crash will occur on other graphics cards. I would strongly recommend you upgrade
to an NVidia-based card, as they have significantly more robust drivers.
