Description Sven Gothel 2010-03-24 07:49:43 CET

---- Reported by ophir 2006-11-30 17:17:35 ----

Being able to choose any available font, instead of just the GLUT bitmat fonts,
would be wonderfully useful. It sounds like this may be on the way, but if
there is a place for people to vote for it, it may happen sooner.

---- Additional Comments From ophir 2006-11-30 18:36:29 ----

Now that I look more closely, this is included in issue 157.

---- Additional Comments From kbr 2006-12-01 01:16:21 ----

We're working on supporting this in the near future. Since the other bug
principally focuses on stroked and extruded fonts, will use this one to track
the issue of supporting Java2D bitmapped fonts.

---- Additional Comments From kbr 2007-01-20 17:18:27 ----

This has been addressed with the inclusion of the new TextRenderer. See the
associated demos in the jogl-demos workspace under demos.j2d.*.
