---- Reported by godji 2007-05-03 06:12:44 ----

Currently JoglAppletLauncher does not suport passing parameters to the
unsigned subapplet it launches. It would be extremely useful to be able to
say, in the HTML that invokes JoglAppletLauncher, something like:

<param name="subapplet.param.param0" value="value0">
<param name="subapplet.param.param1" value="value1">
...
etc.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but that should only require a simple modification of
the JoglAppletLauncher initalization code as well as it's subapplet proxy.

Thanks!

Could you prototype this and provide a suggested patch? That would be very
helpful and would accelerate the incorporation of this functionality.

I believe this bug report is incorrect and that the parameters specified for the
JOGLAppletLauncher are passed down to the sub-applet. At least, it has been
confirmed by a JOGL user that the new JNLPAppletLauncher (which uses the same
mechanism in this area as the JOGLAppletLauncher) works in this fashion. Closing
as "works for me".
