Description Sven Gothel 2010-03-24 07:51:19 CET

---- Reported by alang 2008-03-10 07:17:48 ----

Under certain circumstances line strips are renderer in the incorrect position
if flat shading is turned on. The attached example application draws a
triangle, and a line strip is used to draw a border around the triangle. On our
Windows XP machine the triangle and line strip are rendered correctly. On our
Windows Vista machine the line strip is drawn in the incorrect position.

Details about the Windows Vista machine are listed below:

 * OS : Windows Vista Business (no service pack)
 * Graphics : NVIDIA Geforce3
 * Drivers  : Microsoft Driver 6.0.6000.16386
 * JVM      : java 1.4.2_16 and 1.6.0_04
 * JOGL     : 1.1.1-rc4 and 1.1.1-rc7

There is very little possibility that this is a bug in JOGL. I would strongly
recommend you report this problem to the vendor of your graphics card, and/or
try updating your drivers to the latest available.

Thanks for that. Can confirm the problem seems to be with the Microsoft Driver
6.0.6000.16386 on Windows Vista. Upgrading the drivers to the lastest Nividia
references drivers fixes the issue. Cheers Alan
