---- Reported by mithrandir 2004-02-02 16:11:26 ----

Currently the DEBUG variables are statically assigned in the top of each class.
When trying to debug odd scenarios and why they are not working, it would be
very handy to enable the debugging without needing to recompile the codebase.
These can be fetched and assigned in static initialiser blocks allowing for more
flexible code usage.

---- Additional Comments From kbr 2005-02-03 15:26:29 ----

References to static final DEBUG flags have been made settable via system
properties. "jogl.verbose" enables certain printing statements. "jogl.debug"
enables all debugging printing. "jogl.debug.GLContext" enables the debug
printing inside the GLContext class. The system property names are chosen by
convention and are not enforced.
