You need to use the build.xml in the make/ subdirectory and supply a concrete
target (i.e., "ant linux") so that the appropriate sources get generated. Please
indicate if you're already doing this.

Submitter indicated that Ant-based build process is being used. See issue 65.

The sources check out and build cleanly on my Red Hat 7.3 system with ANTLR
2.7.2, Ant 1.5.3, and the Sun Java 2 SDK 1.4.2_xx. I suspect there may be
problems with later versions of Ant (i.e., the 1.6 tree) but have not yet tested
with it. Please make sure the Ant, ANTLR, and J2SDK versions match and indicate
whether that fixes the problem.

Current build.xml has been fixed to work with all versions of Ant.
