In linux only, calling glEnable(GL.GL_DEPTH_BUFFER) doesn't work.  Later calls
to glIsEnabled(GL.GL_DEPTH_BUFFER) return true, but still the objects in the
scene are not arranged by depth as they should be.  Running the exact same Java
code on windows gives the desired results (objects are drawn in depth order).

You are probably making OpenGL calls outside the display() and init() methods of
your GLEventListener.

For simple questions I would recommend posting to the JOGL forums first before
filing a bug.
