Some graphics cards (in particular Intel graphics cards on Linux) are performing
sub-optimal filtering of the TextRenderer's output, resulting in fuzzy edges for
the text. Need a way to control this and to explicitly force the TextRenderer to
use GL_NEAREST rather than GL_LINEAR filtering.
