Dave Collins from the WW collaborative research project reported that JOGL is
not picking up ATI's hardware-accelerated drivers. Other users have reported
problems even with NVidia's drivers on recent Linux distributions: see
http://www.javagaming.org/forums/index.php?topic=15610.0 . Experimentation has
shown that attempting to dlopen() libGL.so via GlueGen's NativeLibrary class
ends up picking up Mesa's drivers, but dlopen()ing libGL.so.1 explicitly picks
up the correct drivers. Unclear exactly why this is, but changes need to be made
to support this usage mode in the NativeLibrary run-time class.

Added support to GlueGen's NativeLibrary class for relative library
path names which do not require expansion; for example, "libGL.so.1".
Changed the DRIHack to first attempt to open libGL.so.1 instead of
"GL", which expanded to "libGL.so". For some reason, this causes ATI's
drivers to be picked up properly. Tested with various JOGL demos.
