Description Sven Gothel 2010-03-24 07:46:20 CET

---- Reported by rvater 2004-02-23 11:41:14 ----

Try to start the JOGL Gears WebStart Demo result in following exception:
net.java.games.jogl.GLException: Error making context current
	at net.java.games.jogl.impl.GLContext.invokeGL(GLContext.java:162)
	at net.java.games.jogl.GLCanvas.displayImpl(GLCanvas.java:182)
	at net.java.games.jogl.GLCanvas.display(GLCanvas.java:82)
	at net.java.games.jogl.Animator$1.run(Animator.java:104)
	at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:534)
Using MESA-DRI (that doesn't provide really fast 3D Rendering) it works for me
without any excpetion.
seems to be only a problem between the JOGL OpenGL binding and the latest
ATI Driver

---- Additional Comments From kbr 2005-01-30 17:16:27 ----

Several bugs have been fixed in JOGL since the time this bug was filed and
additionally many workarounds for poor multithreading behavior in ATI's drivers
have recently been fixed (in the JOGL CVS repository; these fixes will be
present in JOGL 1.1 b08). This test case works on my machines; once 1.1 b08 is
released, please reopen this bug or file a new one if problems are still present.
